Leeds 5-piece Apollo Junction are the epitome of the DIY ethos within the indie alternative scene, building up a fan base through word of mouth, rapidly becoming known as the band of the people and reached a huge milestone in recording their one millionth Spotify stream, just a few short weeks ago.
Playing gigs in unique locations such as Tan Hill Inn (Great Britain’s highest inn) and a Haunted House in Derby, the bands connection with their fan base is highly impressive.
The band’s music has also featured in the new Disney Plus series ‘Welcome To Wrexham’ with Ryan Reynolds and featured extensively on the ITV 1 coverage of The World Cup.
Having recently announced an extensive autumn tour of iconic venues across the UK (details in the poster below) and a brand new album (Here We Are – 20th October), 2023 is shaping up to the bands biggest and best yet.
The new single Endings, is due for release on the 8th June and is the best one yet of the bands recent run of singles.
The song is about looking at the past, trying to learn it’s lessons and getting on and ‘giving it all you’ve got!’, which fits the bands DIY status and work ethic perfectly.
The songs melody is uplifting and you can hear the positivity in the lyrics.
The chorus is anthemic and is ready to be sung by the masses at gigs up and down the country and is a great summer anthem.

Opening with a combination of drums and melodic guitars that leads into a catchy guitar hook, that is the driving force of the song.
Jamie’s vocals really shine on this track and the backing vocals in the chorus are a delight, and will have you singing along before the end of your first listen.
Endings is a real feel good track, it’s anthemic and has a message of hope and looking towards the future. It’s a song that will be an immediate fan favourite and is the bands best single to date.
