Jake Greener is a rising solo star hailing from Derby and Breadwinner represents his second solo song, following hot on the heels of Sum, which was a former ThisIsTheMusic song of the day.
He has fully embraced the DIY nature of making guitar driven music, drawing on a range of influences, inspirations and sounds in creating his musical project.
Breadwinner sees Jake put together a wide range of genres and influences and playing with the resultant sounds and putting together a kaleidoscope of sounds, that will leave you awestruck.
The track starts off with a thumping drum beat, before a melodic guitar hooks and keys become the driving force in the song.
The soaring guitar solo in the outro is outstanding and displays what a great musician Jake is, whilst the positivity in the lyrics is reflected in the songs upbeat tempo.
If the two singles released so far are anything to go by, then the EP planned for release in the future, will be a masterpiece. The time is now to check out Jake Greener.
