Wolverhampton solo star releases uplifting anthem.
Nod Your Head is the storming new single from Sam Lambeth. The acoustic rocker is catchy, and uplifting with a great melody and a brilliant chorus that is instantly memorable.
Lyrically, Nod My Head deals with the transition from adolescence to adulthood, going through childhood scrapes and revealing personal difficulties (“I had no Dad who would teach me how to fight”) and how all of us can find that escape in music (“but that radio dial still makes me smile”).
“When I was at school, I played the class fool, I had no Dad who would teach me how to fight, I dodged the low blows and ran straight home, and I lose myself in sounds to the early light”
Nod Your Head, features Lambeth playing the harmonica and mandolin in addition to a great guitar solo (which features a joyous moment from Lambeth shouting out to “take it (away Bas”).
Nod Your Head is a brilliant song that is extremely catchy and showcases Sam’s versatility as a songwriter to write fun, uplifting and catchy songs.
With a headline gig at Deadwax in Birmingham on Friday 18th March and more music on the way, Lambeth is set to surpass his achievements in 2021 with an even bigger and better 2022.
