WHITE NOVELS – CALIFORNIA SINGLE PREVIEW

Stirling based indie rockers, White Novels are set to release their fantastic and anthemic new single California.

California has a great melody and is a real uplifting track. The playing, from each band member be it the fantastic drumming, the guitar riffs (check out the guitar solo in the middle 8) and the tender keyboard strokes, is sublime and the sound of band full of confidence and outstanding craftsmanship in creating such a masterful and catchy song. I guarantee that you will be instantly toe-tapping along and California will become one of your favourite tunes of the year.

The passion and emotion in the singing is there for all to hear and, as guitarist and vocalist Jack Bestow explains, California was written about a girl:

“California (is) the true story of when I was dating a girl who was studying here on exchange. She kept referring to this friend of hers, which before leaving to return home she told me was her boyfriend. To be honest I couldn’t make sense of it all”

“Cause You’re In California, Hope You‘re having fun, Wish He Could Have Seen You, Doing All The Things You Done”

California represents the first full band single with the new line up, and based on what’s been delivered here, White Novels are only going in one direction and that’s right to the very top.

California is released on Friday 17th September and can be pre-saved here
