East Lancashire 4 piece The Rafters are back with a brilliant new single Wasted Love and it‘s an absolute banger!

The song is full of fire, drive and plenty of passion and encapsulates the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll.

The song reflects on the Covid pandemic and the missed opportunities for people to meet up with friends and family which inspired the instantly memorable chorus lyric:

“There’s nothing to live for,‘cept for wasted love”

The song has a great melody, ferocious drumming and a bass line that rumbles along and gives the song a real groove.

The bass really comes to the fore ahead of the songs outro, where we get a bass solo, which adds to the haunting mood of the song.

As with previous releases The Rafters have delivered a song that deserves to be played at  clubs and arenas across the land.

Wasted Love is a fantastic single, full of energy and pretty much capturing people’s moods during these covid times. The Rafters are a band that have got a big future and Wasted Love is just the start!

Wasted Love is released on all streaming  and download platforms on Friday 17th September.

Follow The Rafters across their social media platforms: Twitter; Instagram;   Spotify; andFacebook;

The Rafters played a scintillating live and secret gig during lockdown with Sunbird Records, which should wet the appetite for the bands forthcoming live gigs.

We had the pleasure of sitting down with The Rafters a few months ago on our ThisIsTheMusic meets podcast. Check it out here.
