After a highly successful 2020 (more on that later) Shader are back with their second single of 2021 in the form of Blackholes (The World Eats A Weak Man). Since its release on 3rd September, Blackholes has already amassed over 1,000 streams (at time of writing) a figure that will increase rapidly as the band head out on its 15 date UK tour starting in Glasgow on September 10th.
Produced by legendary prouder Gavin Monaghan (Blinders/Editors), Blackholes is a high energy, heavy guitar track with thundering drums and synths that gives the song its euphoric and explosive feel.
Frontman and singer Stu Whiston on the new single
“Blackholes is a modern rock and roll explosive hymn for the lost and lonely, climbing out of the depths of solitude and fighting back against the world”
As with previous singles, Blackholes has a euphoric and hopeful feel and further cements the bands reputation as one of the best up-and coming rocknroll bands.
“Blackholes, lost souls, time waits for no man! Blackholes, lost souls, the world needs to wake man!”
Shader begin a 15 date headline UK tour in September seeing them play dates up and down the country until the end of this year.

Despite the obvious difficulties that 2020 presented, for Shader it proved to be a phenomenal year. Time Is Right peaked at number 2 in the official UK physical chart, with Runway peaking at number 4 in the UKs vinyl chart and number 10 in the iTunes alternative chart. Two highly impressive feats.
