Greater Manchester’s Mercy Kelly have been quietly building their reputation since forming in 2019, but with Speak Too Soon, they’re stepping confidently into the spotlight. The five-piece – Jack Marland (vocals), Adam Bridge (guitar), Joel Buckley (bass), Jacob Simpson (guitar), and Leon Hepke (drums) – have already shared stages with Sam Scherdel and The Killers’ guitarist Ted Sablay, clocking up close to 57k Spotify streams and earning a loyal local following.
Now, with Tramlines and Kendal Calling on the horizon, plus a headline show at Gulliver’s in Manchester this September, Mercy Kelly are gearing up for their busiest summer yet – and Speak Too Soon is the perfect calling card.
The track lands with shimmering guitars and Jack’s emotive vocals, capturing that all-too-familiar moment of realising you’ve said too much before you’ve had time to breathe.
