London 5-piece Payola, a band who blend swagger, soul and Rock’n’roll into one electrifying package, are back with their highly anticipated fourth single, Everywhere Light Can’t See.

The five-piece band—featuring Dave Farley (vocals), Scott Forsyth (lead guitar), Robbie Capel (rhythm guitar), Matt Peel (bass) and Craig Edmonds (drums), are closing in on 10,000 Spotify streams and steadily building a loyal live following. Their high-energy performances at iconic venues in London (The Spice of Life and 93 Feet East ) Liverpool (The Cavern Club & Pub) are winning over new fans with every show.

From the first note of Everywhere Light Can’t See, Payola plant their flag in rich indie rock territory, blending raw emotion with atmospheric depth. This isn’t just another guitar-driven track, it’s a tightly crafted journey that pulses with urgency and texture.

Built around echoing guitar riffs and a steady tight, rhythmic backbone, the track captures that rare balance of brooding introspection and soaring energy. The vocals come through with a haunting sincerity, conveying both vulnerability and defiance, a kind of restrained desperation that pulls the listener in. The vocals never overpower the instrumentation; instead, they ride the wave of the song’s mood perfectly. There’s a real cinematic quality here

Everywhere Light Can’t See feels both expansive and intimate. It simmers slowly before opening up into a bold, layered chorus that stays with you long after the final chord fades.

With this release, Payola aren’t just making noise they’re carving out a space that’s entirely their own. Keep your ears on this band; there’s clearly much more light where this came from.

Everywhere Light Can’t See is released on Friday 30th May
