Former frontman of The Shed Project, Roy Fletcher returns with the fourth single from his solo project.

Across three previously released and extremely well received singles, Yon Mon has racked up over 21k Spotify streams, earning radio play in America (Amazing Radio) and plenty of support from home from ThisIsTheMusic (Rise Of The Indie Artists), Radio Windrush (An A To D of Indie with Ady Hanson), Duggystone Radio and Tameside Radio (The Dave Sweetmore show).

So what of the new single? Can’t See Me is a funk-fuelled gem that demands attention from the very first beat. With its infectious rhythm and undeniable groove, it’s the kind of track that sneaks into your bones and gets your feet tapping before you even realise it.

Crisp guitar riffs, a deep-pocket bassline, and slick, confident vocals combine to create a sound that’s both retro-inspired and refreshingly modern. There’s a playful swagger here—it’s clear Roy knows he’s hit on something special—and it radiates through every note.

The groove is irresistible, blending elements of funk, indie rock, and retro soul and giving an insight into Roy’s record collection.

The track offers a tantalising glimpse into the forthcoming Yon Mon Solo album, setting the tone with its bold, genre-blurring style. If this is any indication of what’s to come, the full project promises to be a vibrant fusion of groove, grit, and indie cool. Can’t See Me isn’t just a standout single—it’s a statement.

Can’t See Me is released on Friday 2nd May and is available to pre-save here
