Hot on the heels of their anthemic track ‘Against The World’, Hertfordshire indie-rockers LOCK-IN are back – crashing through the indie-rock gates with their hands in the air and a summer anthem in their pocket.
Their latest offering, ‘11:11’, isn’t just a song; it’s a sparkling, serotonin-drenched statement that these boys are more than ready for the big stage.
Having burst onto the scene in 2020, with the release of Teenager, the 5-piece who consist of, Benjy Leak (Vocals) Joe Leak (guitar), Angus Moore (guitar), Sam Collins (bass) and Ollie Stacey (Drums) have hit an impressive 517k Spotify streams and headlined some of London’s most iconic venues (The Water Rats, The Garage, Omera). They’ve also enjoy a backstage jam with Peter Doherty and Kyle Falconer, moments after wowing the audience at The Electric Ballroom as part of The Musos Awards, a night where Benjy also presented ThisIsTheMusic with the Indie Influencer award.
From the very first note, 11:11 shimmers with dreamy ambition. Ethereal guitars dance around funky rhythms, while Benjy Leak’s charismatic vocals glide through with a confidence that’s hard to ignore.

The track builds into a euphoric radio-ready chorus that feels tailor-made for festival singalongs – the kind of hook that sticks with you long after the sun sets and positions LOCK-IN firmly in the lane of UK indie’s next big breakout.
Lyrically, ‘11:11’ captures the electric uncertainty of that fleeting, late-night moment of finding love/lust and realising it’s now or never to make your move.
“‘11:11’ is all about mixed signals – one minute you think it’s on, the next you’re second-guessing everything. It’s that late-night, wish-on-a-star kind of feeling, but with a bit of a kick. Dreamy, but still got that indie-rock energy – like if your teenage crush had a soundtrack. Basically, if you want something, say it before the clock hits 11:12!”
Benjy Leak
And that kick is exactly what gives ‘11:11’ its edge – it’s dreamy, sure, but it never drifts too far from the band’s punchy indie-rock roots.
The single blends a modern dream-pop sheen with festival-sized hooks, offering a sound that bridges the charm of Circa Waves with the crossover potential of Inhaler or Declan McKenna.
If you’re into soaring choruses, late-night indie nostalgia, and the feeling that something big is about to happen – ‘11:11’ is your new obsession.
Lock it in.
