Rising solo artist Ryan Redwood makes his highly anticipated return to the indie scene with emotional new single Tomorrow set for release on 11th April.
After fronting two local bands, Ryan found himself at a crossroads during the pandemic. Rather than slowing down, he seized the moment to carve out his own path. In 2020, he launched his solo career, and it’s been non-stop ever since. He’s shared the stage with the likes of Corella, Reverend and The Makers, Joel Stoker (The Rifles), and Twin Atlantic, while also playing his first show with This Feeling at Manchester’s Off The Square. With six singles and his debut EP, Twenty Something Romance, under his belt—not to mention racking up over 7k streams on Spotify—Ryan is proving he’s a rising force in the indie scene. And he’s only just getting started.
Tomorrow is a breathtaking meditation on the fragility of life—delivered with haunting beauty and raw emotion. Crafted alongside his lifelong friend and producer Aaron Lambert, this track captures the essence of their 15-year creative partnership, blending raw emotion with meticulous production.
Tomorrow wastes no time in making an impact, pulling listeners into a dreamlike soundscape, where melancholic melodies intertwine with gripping instrumentals. Ryan’s vocals are drenched in feeling, delivering the poignant question: “What’s left of this place when it ends, tomorrow?” It’s an instant hook—not just musically, but symbolically —urging the listener to confront the fleeting nature of existence.
The weight of these words is amplified by the song’s atmospheric arrangements, where lush guitar tones, swelling synths, and layered production create a sense of urgency and introspection. Adam Lambert’s touch as a producer enhances Ryan’s signature indie rock sound, elevating it into something truly cinematic.
Tomorrow is a wake up call, a reminder to live in the moment as we just don’t know what tomorrow will bring. With its rich textures and deeply personal storytelling, Ryan Redwood delivers a track that speaks to the soul. Stirring, thought-provoking, and sonically mesmerising, Tomorrow cements Redwood as a powerful voice in the indie rock landscape—one that demands to be heard.
Tomorrow is released on Friday 11th April and can be pre-saved here.
