Mercy Kelly are an an emerging Manchester band that bring a refreshing mix of indie rock, post-punk, and shoegaze elements to their music,
The 5-piece consist of Jack Marland (vocals), Adam Bridge (guitar), Joel Buckley (bass), Jacob Simpson (guitar) and Leon Hepke (drums) formed in late 2019 and are influenced by the likes of The Cure, The Smiths, Kasabian and U2.
In 2024, Mercy Kelly, have had some success through the release of All You’ve Ever Known, supporting Sam Scherdel and The Killers guitarist Ted Sablay, it’s easy to see why they have quickly established themselves as one of the indie scenes brightest emerging artists.
Lights is a high energy track that blends indie rock and pop together, giving the track a modern and fresh appeal.
Starting off with a catchy drum beat and bassline, Lights has a vibrant upbeat feel and will immediately grab your attention.
Jack’s fantastic, melodic vocal has a dreamy sound to it and intertwines perfectly with the atmospherics of the instruments on the track.
The stomping guitar hooks are really catchy and they have a great energy and groove to them, which are instantly addictive. The guitar solos are really captivating and has a great sound.
