Morals are a DIY 4 piece from Hull creating a dark, post-punk sound fuelled by the angst of the modern world.
In just 12 months they’ve secured coveted support slots with Johnny Borrell, The Clockworks, The View and Shambolics to name a few and their reputation is constantly growing as one of the most exciting bands emerging from Yorkshire.
The new single is full of heavy, punchy guitar riffs which provides the song with spaghetti western vibe; think Arctic Monkeys Crying Lightning era and you won’t be far wrong.
The pounding bass line, really drives the song along and combined with the guitar riffs provides a haunting soundscape to the song.
The vocals are fantastic, restrained in the verses, before being presented with a roaring almost venomous and powerful chorus vocal that is waiting for you to roar back to the band. The way the high note of Misbehave is reached and maintained is awesome and is one of many reasons why Morales stand out from the pack.
The track is packed with plenty of energy and is one that you’ll be toe tapping along to instantly. The variation in the vocal is brilliant and it provides the song with a modern twist, sounding fresh and exciting in the process. Misbehave is a great track and will definitely leave you wanting more.
Misbehave is out now on all streaming platforms.
