Powerhouse north east 4-piece return with scintillating new single

Since crashing onto the music just over 12 months Northern Hospitality have well and truly left their mark on the new music scene. The 4 piece consisting of Gaz Price (singer and rhythm guitar); Georgia Smith (drums); Nico Mouissie (bass) and Sean McCloskey (lead guitar), have released 5 extremely well recorded singles, supported Pete Doherty and are set to share stages with Kaiser Chiefs and Feeder at festival main stages this summer, a whirlwind of a first year as band that has seen them establish themselves as of the north east’s heavy hitters.

The new single, is a high-octane blistering burst of adrenaline that’s an out and out banger and have you bouncing around from the first best to the last.

Break Free is a tale of inner turmoil and frustration, vented through beautifully crafted chaos. It’s full of punchy riffs, thrashing drums and an unrivalled energy that sees Northern Hospitality do what they do best: swaggering no-holes barred punk rock that will grab you immediately.

Gaz’s vocal is really powerful and commanding, without overpowering the fantastic musicianship that’s on display.

The chorus is fantastic, driven by the punchy riffs and rhythm section, with clever time signature changes , whilst still ensuring you’ll be jumping around,

Break Free is another fine track from the Hartlepool 4-piece. It’s full of bite and is a blistering track that will quite literally blow you away. The momentum is building with each release and they are ready to break free from grassroots venues and onto the bigger stages that awaits this powerhouse of an indie punk outfit.

Break Free is released on Friday 5th July and can be pre-saved here.

Break Free will be getting an early spin on the Rise Of The Indie Artists show on Future Hits Radio from 7pm.
