Whilst the song appears to be about being in love, it soon becomes apparent that lyrics are from the perspective of someone experiencing unrequited love. A situation experienced by many; wanting someone to return your love, only to realize that by the time they do, you’ve already moved on. It’s full of attitude and is quite simply brilliant, packing a powerful message in the process.
The chorus is really anthemic, uplifting and powerful and is one that will draw you in and have you singing along.
The uplifting guitar solo is really addictive and dovetails perfectly with the groovy basslines and summary melodies.
