Sheffield 4-piece Vivas set to release huge indie rock anthem!

Since forming in 2022, Vivas, who consist of of James Wilson (Lead vocals/rhythm guitar) Tyler Savage (Lead guitar/backing vocals) Kane Ibbertson (Bass/backing vocals) and Keaton Barker (Drums) have already achieved so much in just a short space of time. From supporting rock legends Def Leppard and Motley Crew at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane and at Lytham Festival, headlining their own UK tour, alongside supporting Apollo Junction and Little Man Tate, a sold out main room at the iconic Leadmill, before another huge support slot this summer when they support the legend that is Bryan Adams. It’s been a real upward trajectory for the band.

Step Out marks the bands 9th single and it’s a highly infectious rocknroll banger that will be immediately stuck in your head and have you instantly hooked.

The song immediately hits you with James’ melodic vocal and punchy guitar playing, before heavy hitting drums and pounding bass lines join in: and it’s these instrumentals that provide the song with its high energy and ensures it packs a punch.

Step Out is a real anthemic tune and it’s full of catchy melodies throughout. The chorus features a clever change of pace and time pattern, which allows you to momentarily draw your breath, before bursting back into the relentless verse pace and just displays the impressive musicianship that exists within the band.

The driving and energetic rhythms in the track will have you toe tapping along and are supported by jangly euphoric guitar hooks.

2024 is shaping up to be a fantastic year for the Sheffield group, who continue to deliver perfectly constructed and highly addictive indie anthems. It’s a fantastic listen and you’lll be hard pressed to find many better indie rock anthems this year.
