Newcastle-based indie-rock quartet The Avelons are set to release their energetic floor filling new anthem Chit Chat on Friday 1st March.

Having formed in 2021, the 4-piece have released 5 singles racking up 20,507 Spotify streams, which has lead to 4 sell out gigs at local venues in Newcastle: The Cluny, Head Of Steam, Zerox and Bobiks.

You are immediately hit with high energy guitar riffs backed with catchy drumming and basslines that provide a vibrant upbeat feel, making this an instant toe taper.

The single is ready made for festivals, which is surely where this band are heading this summer. It’s anthemic head-bopping indie rock with a fantastic sound and full of groove.

The vocal is fantastic, really melodic and the accompanying harmonies in the chorus are just a delight. The chorus is begging to be chanted back by gig goers.

The guitars shine throughout and the solo is full of energy and really soars. The cleverness in the way in which they momentarily change the tempo and signature of the solo, is a testament to the level of musicianship on display, before building it back up to a stunning crescendo that allows the anthemic chorus to be belted out one final final time.

Chit Chat is euphoric, addictive and catchy as hell. This track is sure to be a hit with fans and newcomers alike. Having taken the north east by storm, The Avelons are now ready to show the rest of the UK exactly why they are a band ready for festival main stages.

Chit Chat is released on Friday 1st March and can be pre-saved here.
