Newcastle alternative rockers Bosola, burst into 2024 with their raucous new single, Truth Man, which is set for release on Friday 2nd February.

2023 was a real rollercoaster for Bosola, that was sprinkled with plenty of gigs, including a prestigious support slot with Dictator and new members joining, bringing jangle, groove and vigour to songwriter Tim Cox’s take on alternative rock.

Having been added to Coastal Crawl and a whole raft of songs waiting to be recorded, 2024 is shaping up to be the bands biggest and best year yet.

You are immediately hit with an upbeat and energetic guitar tone that evokes memories early Northern Britpop/rock fused with a 60’s beat. It’s upbeat, anthemic and very catchy.

There is a real swagger about the track and the jangle-punk guitars and driving rhythms provide plenty of groove and will have you instantly toe-tapping along. A blend of distorted guitars provide a psychedelic experience that really shines and leave you wanting more.

Lyrically Truth Man is a song about living a lie. Written as a reflection on a younger version of himself, the song portrays a picture of life’s up and downs and learning lessons.

The chorus is insanely catchy and set against backdrop of an intricate melody and is waiting for the listener to sing along to

“Cos I needed you, you needed me scrubbed from your memory”

Bosola are back with a swaggering new single thats will please old and new fans alike. It’s a real statement of intent and is truly essential listening.

Truth Man is released on Friday 2nd February and can be pre-saved here.
