Deshine are a 4-piece indie rock band hailing from Liverpool. They are half- Scouse (Cameron and Jake); one part Ukrainian (Lisa) and one part south American (Donnie).
Donnie and Lisa created the band in December 22′, after Donnie showed Lisa a couple of demos and they both felt convinced that they were on the same level as The Stone Roses, Oasis and The Beatles and they both decided to move to Liverpool. Eventually Cameron and Jake joined the band as they shared the same goal. The music is strongly influenced by all of the rocknroll greats including The Beatles, The La’s, Stone roses, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys and The Hives. They spent 2023 gigging and rehearsing, in preparation for a big 2024.
They’ve released one single to date; 2023’s rip roaring single Underclass (6,380 Spotify streams) which has a real punk sounding vibe to it and has gone down a storm in the process.
The new single, Sally was released on the 17th January and its full of rocknroll energy that will leave a lasting impression.
Full of huge dirty guitar riffs, pounding drums and a biting bassline, there’s a punk edge, with garage rock vibes throughout.
The vocal is aggressive and packs a right punch and is a cross between Jonny Rotten and Liam Gallagher.
The guitars have plenty of distortion and fuzz, which drive the song on and will leave you totally captivated and in awe of the musicianship on display.
The track builds into an epic outro, it sounds like something The Who would have put together: the distortion on the guitars has been turned up another few notches and it just sounds incredible.
Sally is packed full of energy and it screams attitude. It’s one of the most exciting displays of rocknroll that you are likely to encounter this year. Remember the name as Deshine are set for a huge 2024
