Feed Those Middle Pages Up is an, infectious and energetic anthem for the dark times we live in.

Opening up with an upbeat and rhythmic guitar pattern and Mark’s powerful vocal that’s delivered with a real passion, you’ll be top tapping along immediately.

The break between the verses, sees intricate and captivating guitar hooks join in, which intertwine with the driving bass riff and piano raising the bar and his standing as a top class songwriter.

The verses have a real The Coral feel about them which lead you to these Beatles-esque harmonies in the bridge, which takes you into the wonderful infectious chorus that’s cleverly stripped back to acoustic guitar and vocal before building up into a crescendo and leaving you awestruck. The piano solo in the outro provides a real vibrancy to the song and elevates the sound to a height not previously seen on a Mark Maclean solo song.

It’s anthemic, uplifting and very catchy and the type of song that you’ll be wanting to listen to over and over again. Mark Maclean has once again delivered an absolute gem of a track that will definitely connect with new fans and listeners alike.
