Merseyside alternative rock band, This Is War! return with punchy new single Laces on Friday 20th October.
The 5 piece consists of Paul Carden on vocals, Mike Mullard on Guitar and backing vocals, Jonny Roberts on guitar (Mike and Jonny swap between playing Lead and Rhythm on different tracks), Gianluca Rizzoli on Bass and Martyn Leah on Drums were formed in 2021 and quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting bands on the UK, earning over 12k Spotify streams, thanks in part to their efforts in releasing 10 songs across 2022, before their debut EP Rotten was released earlier this year.
The latest single, Laces continues with the bands trademark sound: big guitar riffs, powerful and anthemic vocals, which create a huge wall of sound that will blow you away.
The tracks opens with a melodic and roaring guitar riff that’s a real statement of intent along with thumping bass lines and rhythmic drums.

The song is really catchy and is an instant foot stomper that provides a powerful backdrop for the anthemic vocal, that will leave awestruck at the power generated and is one you simply you cannot ignore.
The huge chorus is one that will be stuck in your head from the very first listen and makes for another huge sound from the band.
This Is War! continue to release bold rocknroll anthems, with a huge sound that will blow you away. Every release raises the bar in terms of excitement and anticipation and Laces truly delivers on all front.
