Shaun Finn is a rising solo artists from Dublin. Times Are Changing is his new single set for release on Friday 29th September and it represents his best song to date.
Finn has a love for Foo Fighters, The Darkness, Destroy Boys, and The Coronas that shines through in his music.
Having released his debut EP, Live My Life, in 2021, Shaun has received widespread acclaim and is emerging as an exciting solo artist. His following release ‘Galway‘ (2022) topped the Irish charts and his most recent single ‘Rise’ received radio play throughout Ireland, England, the USA, and Canada.
Rise has seen Shaun receive critical and fan acclaim including from his guitar hero, Dave McPhillips, formerly of The Coronas, who reached out to give praise.
Times are Changing is full of high energy guitar riffs and is head banging, fist thumping and foot stomping rocknroll.
The bouncing drums are highly energetic and ensures the song sets off at a fast pace ahead of Shaun’s magnificent vocal. Whilst the aforementioned influences are evident, there’s a bit of 90s Britpop swagger about the song.
Packed full of high energy guitar riffs and hooks, hell for leather drumming and thunderous bass lines that’s topped off with a strong vocal that is the focal point of the song, without overpowering any of the instruments and sounds.
Lyrically this song is somewhat relatable as it tells a condensed story of life. Questioning things we all did when we were 23, where should we be in life? Should I be driving a car? Should I move abroad?
Times Are Changing is highly addictive and is full of class with a great melody that will keep you hooked. With his new single, Shaun Finn has showcased the incredible talent he has and outlines why he is going to be one to watch.
Times Are Changing is set for release on Friday 25th September. You can pre-save it here.
