Tivertons are a new and exiting band on the new music scene. The 4 piece consist of Leo Herriott (singer) Luca Govani (guitar), Harry Denton (guitars) and Morgan Holt (drums), have released two fantastic singles to date The Way You Called My Name and Pay The Fine. They have ambitions to ensure that 2023 is a real big breakthrough year for the band.
Come on Darlin is an acoustic led ballad, that starts off with jangly acoustic guitars that really drives the song along before captivating riffs and hooks join in and drop in and out of the song and will have your toes taping and head nodding along.
The vocal is really strong and Leo’s delivery and tone has a lot of similarities to Stereophonics legend Kelly Jones and has a great melody to it. The ease in which he delivers this song, compared to the more rockier Pay The Fine is top class and gives the song an anthemic feel.
The song is optimistic and reflective and looks at moving forwards, despite any wrongs that may have happened to you.
“We Don’t Always Mean What We Say, But Life Is A Game We Play, But Life Can Get In The Way”
The song sounds fantastic, and it’s really addictive, full of energy and it has a great melody to it that listeners are going to love.
Come On Darlin’ is a fantastic track and as a self confessed fan of the Tivertons I’m really excited as to what’s coming next.
Come On Darlin’ is released on Friday 5th May and will be available across all streaming and download platforms.
