SIRACUSE are a three-piece from Cheltenham, who blend elements of 90s Britrock processed through a psychedelic filter.
Their new single, follows hot on the heels of the re-release of their debut album Forever on Vibrant Sky Records.
Saviour is melodic indie anthem, encapsulating high energy guitar riffs reminiscent of 90’s legends, Oasis, The Charlatans and Ride, layered over a Stone Roses style groove and funky sounding drums.
Opening with a chiming and glorious guitar riff that is the focal point for the song, before those funky, Stone Roses-esque drums join in and sets off the songs energy and drive.
If you like guitar filled indie, full of 90s swagger, then this is the song for you.
“A song about being inseparable with someone or something, doing what you love alongside someone you love; it’s about having that drive to go at something together or helping somebody get there”
Ben Zakotti: Singer/Guitarist
The blistering wah-wah guitar riffs are euphoric and highly addictive and the groovey bass line and Will Hall’s thunderous funky drums will keep you hooked.
Saviour is a high quality addition to Siracuse’s mightily impressive back catalogue of songs. It’s got a real summer anthem vibe about it and just oozes class.
I’ve been a big supporter of Siracuse since I came across them in 2020 and it’s great to see them starting to get the recognition their rightly deserve. I’m really excited about this band and can’t wait to see what’s in store next.
Saviour is released on Friday 28th April and will be available on all streaming platforms. Tune into the ThisIsTheMusic Rise of The Indie Artists on Future Hits Radio on Thursday 27th April to hear the track ahead of its release.
