After the phenomenal response to their first proper single release The Lovers Were The Last Ones To Leave (over 20,000 Spotify streams), plus radio support from Radio X, BBC Introducing, BBC West Midlands and Future Hits, Rosa Caelum return with their hard hitting second single Jerusalem.
The West Midlands 5-piece consists of Robert Mansfield on Vocals, Liam Tolley on Guitar, Travis O’Leary on Bass, Ben Marks-Baggott on Guitar and newly recruited Sam Horobin on Drums. In 2022 the band secured a support slot with The Assist and Bilk before going on to sell out their debut headline show gig at the start of 2023 and are set to support Manchester’s rising rocknroll band Rolla in Birmingham on 13th April at The Rainbow.
Jerusalem starts off with a thumping bass line and Rob’s powerful spoken word vocal, before exploding into a life thanks to the hard hitting guitar riff which packs a real punch, thumping bass lines and rhythmic drum beats.
Lyrically this song has a theme of love and hate running through it and as you’d expect with a title like Jerusalem there is a religious undertone mixed in for good measure!
The chorus hooks are full of energy and leave you well, hooked, and will have you pogoing around; which ensures this track will go down a storm when it’s played at the bands forthcoming live gigs.
With the release of their second single, Rosa Caelum have showcased exactly why they are are going to be a band that will have a big breakthrough year in 2023 before becoming a band that will be at the forefront of everyone’s mind. Remember the name as Rosa Caelum are going to blow the competition away and become huge.
Jerusalem is released on Thursday 30th March and can be pre-saved here.
