The Cavs are a 5-piece indie rocknroll band hailing from Manchester who have developed a reputation for their creative style of indie rock that focuses on blending melodic hooks with frenetic guitar lines.
With influences ranging from Kasabian, Elbow and The Libertines, their energetic live performances and thought provoking lyrics have earned them a reputation as one of the most exciting acts on the new music scene.
Consisting of Elliot Craven (frontman); James Mcauley (rhythm guitar); Chris Terry (lead guitar); Michael Cagney (Bass); Arthur Townson (drums), The Cavs have been tipped as one of This Feeling’s “Big in 2023” nominations and “ones to watch”. They are on the cusp of selling out their biggest gig to date at The Deaf Institute in Manchester on June 2nd and it’s easy to see why they are deserving of such an accolade.
Again starts off with a thumping drum beat, an infectious swaggering guitar riff and a fantastic melodic vocal, that gives the song a real vibrant and upbeat feel, making this a real foot tapper from the get go.
The subject of the song will be relevant to us all as it takes you on a journey through the ups and downs of life.
“I’ve been losing my mind, so I just wanted to see, if I wasn’t here, were would you rather be, and I don’t really mind and I don’t really care and I can’t see myself round here when you’re there”
The guitar riffs really shine on this track, giving Again its drive and energy and is sure to be a must-listen for fans of the band as well as newcomers.
Again is a great track, really euphoric and addictive and sees the Manchester 5-piece take things up a few levels and deliver their best song to date!
Again is released on Friday 24th March and can be pre-saved here.
The bands debut EP Music To My Madness is available on limited edition vinyl (100 copies) and CD, which can be purchased from the bands website.
