East Lancashire 4 piece The Rafters are back with their scintillating new single Busy Man, which is due for release on Friday 17th February. Having had a real breakthrough year in 2022, The Rafters are keen to build upon that momentum. Busy Man is the first of two singles (at the time of writing) that are planned for this year and is a pure slice of scintillating rocknroll brilliance.
The track is full of the bands trademark passion and energy, strong vocals and lyrics, powerful drums and a catchy guitar riff that will be stuck in your head for days on end.
It comes racing out of the blocks with real attitude and is an absolute cracker and is driven by a catchy guitar hook and a vocal full of passion.
It’s full of anthemtic guitar riffs, pounding drums and infectious lyrics. The bass line moves between thumping and groove with ease that will leave you marvelling at the level of musicianship on show.
“I’m gonna rock your world! Yeah I know you had some plans at the weekend, but I got things to do. I want to life that movie could not script. Oh no, no no what’s wrong with ambition its a two-way mission and I’ll call on the telephone. Tell you my great plans”
Whilst the track is predominantly fast paced, there are several exciting tempo changes mainly featuring in the chorus. However my personal favourite features around the 2 minute mark. The tempo drops and we are treated to the songs driving guitar riff, drums and bass and slowly builds up ahead of the pre-chorus before exploding back into life.
When this is played live, you can imagine the crowd jumping around without a care in the world, before the band gives them a chance for a breather before one final explosive finale.
The Rafters continue to get bigger and better with each release and Busy Man is a bruising and rousing rocknroll anthem that sees the entire band being things up a level.
