West Midlands 5-piece set to release storming debut single

Rosa Caelum are an exciting alternative/indie rock band hailing from the West Midlands. Forming in late 2021, the 5 piece consisting of Robert Mansfield (vocals), Liam Tolley (lead guitar), Ben Marks-Baggott (rhythm guitar), Travis O’Leary (bass) and Jake Bishop (drums) are set to release their debut single The Lovers Were The Last Ones To Leave on 13th January.

The debut single follows hot on the heels of 2 scintillating demos (Killed The King and Idiom) that were released in 2022 as a way of introducing the band to a wider audience and resulted in the securing of prestigious support slots with The Assist (02 Institute) and Bilk (The Rainbow) on the Birmingham legs of their respective tours.

Recorded at the legendary Magic Garden Studios, The Lovers Were The Last Ones To Leave is a blistering energetic rocknroll anthem that will blow you away.

You are instantly hit with an energetic and scintillating lead guitar riff, and thunderous drums that hooks you in and has a punk meets Britpop vibe about it. The bass line gives it a real edge.

The vocal is Rob’s best to date, it’s full of passion and his confidence really shines through and sounds as if he is saying to everyone this is what I was born to do: sing in a rocknroll band. In fact, the whole band have brought things up several levels since the previously mentioned demo releases, thanks to the bands high work ethic of gigging and rehearsing, had allowed them to perfect their sound and style.

Whilst the song explodes out of the blocks at 100mph, I love the tempo change ahead of the bridge that will have your feet tapping and your head nodding, before exploding back into life for the anthemtic chorus, led by the scintillating lead riffs.

“I can’t help how I feel, and the lovers were the last ones to leave for and that’s the way I feel, I’m on a mission to keep you here”

The Lovers Were The Last Ones To Leave has a great sound, it’s vibrant and energetic and a guaranteed floor filler. I’m sure that there will be plenty of pogoing going on by gig goers when it’s played live.

The Lovers Were The Last Ones To Leave is a fantastic debut single. It’s full of attitude, energy and is high octane stadium filling rocknroll. Remember the name as Rosa Caelum are going to be blowing the roofs off of venues across the country.
