Prolific songwriter Jay Tennant ends 2022 on a real high.
As the saying goes there are some things that are certain in life: going to school, getting a job, paying taxes and Jay Tennant releasing sublime new music.
As he has done with his last couple of releases, Jay suddenly announced details of his latest single, which ensures the solo star signs off 2022 on a real high and sets him up for a big 2023, which will see the release of his 4th studio album.
The new single The Crystal World is set for release on Friday 9th December and including his 3rd album Forever Roses, is his 9th release this year: see what I mean about Jay being prolific?
High energy, passion and intensity are at the forefront of The Crystal World. Opening with a foot stomping drum beat and swaggering guitar riff, you just in an instant that Jay has delivered another masterpiece of songwriting of the highest order.
The thumping bass line supports the soaring and swaggering guitar riffs, that would fill out stadiums across the country and beyond.
The vocal as ever is full of passion, energy and is heartfelt. Yes Jay has previously been compared with a certain Richard Ashcroft, but personally it’s time for those comparisons to end as Jay deserves to be recognised in his own right as a mighty fine singer, with plenty of range as demonstrated in this song.
Jay has continued his theme of epic story telling on The Crystal World. It’s a song full of relatable lyrics of love and temptation that draw you and leave you fully immersed within it.
