Esquire are a 4-piece indie band hailing from Scotland and are a band well and truly on the rise.
After the release of their first two singles (Anais and Boy Racer) that amassed well over 5k streams on Spotify, Esquire are back with another banger of a single that will appeal to the masses and see their fan base continue to grow.
They’ve carved out a reputation as one of the best live bands in Scotland, who always deliver energetic shows and have already played headline shows at The Bungalow, Broadcast, Sneaky Petes, Nice N Sleezy’s, Ivory Blacks, Audio, Room2 and The Garage Attic in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Their new single Deathtrap Discotheque is released on Friday 18th November and sees the band round off their studio releases in fine style.
The track kicks off with a thumping bass line and snappy, pounding drums, before a catchy guitar riff drives the song forward that creates a sound that will have you instantly hooked. With the plan of going onto bigger and better things with each release and getting their music into the ears as many people as possible, and true to their word they’ve achieved this.
The track is really upbeat and energetic and those catchy intro hooks and guitar riffs continue throughout the song, with an anthemic chorus that feature soaring stadium ready guitar riffs and with the “nah, nah, nah’s” in the chorus, will have the crowd roaring back when this is played live.
The vocal is immense and full of passion that will ensure you are singing along by the time the chorus kicks in.
I’ve had this tune in my head for days. It’s full of energy, meaty basslines and catchy guitar riffs that will have you hooked instantly.
Deathtrap Discotheque is Esquire’s best track to date. They set themselves some targets of getting bigger and better with each release and getting their music into the ears as many people as possible. With their latest release they’ve achieved that and more!
Deathtrap Discotheque is released on Friday 18th November and can be pre-saved here.
You can catch Esquire live on Friday 9th December at Room2 in Glasgow. Tickets can be purchased here.
