THE TENTERS – INDIGO

The Tenters are a 4 piece indie band hailing from Lincolnshire/Cambridgeshire and consist of Will Munton (rhythm guitar and vocals); Kane Brownlie (lead guitar) Rob Lester (bass guitar); Will Olley (drums and percussion).

They released their first two singles in 2021 Alexander and followed that up with Good Will Hunting. Since last summer the 4-piece have been writing and rehearsing relentlessly.

The new single Indigo, is due for release on Friday 28th October, and is an anthem to better times and really hits the spot.

The opening guitar riffs will captivate you immediately, which continue to chime throughout the track and will have you toe-tapping along. The crisp drum beat along with the thumping bass line really bring home the energetic rhythm of the song.

The melody and guitar hooks are so addictive and will leave you wanting more. The chorus is really anthemic and will have you singing along.

Will’s vocal is so strong, powerful and full of passion that you leaves you hanging on every word.

The Tenters

When talking about the new single The Tenters had this to say:

Lyrically the song isn’t really about a single subject or topic as a whole and whilst it has some personal meaning in places, the idea is that my ‘Indigo’ is completely different to what yours or anyone else’s may be. In keeping with that theme, the line ‘I need this more than you know’ can resonate with the listener in any way they choose. What they ‘need’ could change and fluctuate from day to day and has a certain fluidity to it which does tie into a more ‘overall’ theme for the song, movement. Whether that be physical, emotional, mental or through our senses. The idea that even when it may seem as though something is at a standstill, it isn’t.

Indigo is a great track, a guaranteed floor filler, that will get the feet tapping and the hips shaking and ensure that The Tenters are ones to watch.

Indigo is released on Friday 28th October and can be pre-saved here
