Callum Gibson is a singe/songwriter hailing from Dundee in Scotland and is one of the country’s best kept secrets – until now.
Having shared festival bills with the likes of legendary bands such as The Charlatans, The Zutons and Travis, Callum has built his ever growing fan base through playing a string of gigs and word of mouth. His rise is ever more impressive when you consider he has only been involved in music for two years.
Into the Dark is a fantastic upbeat song that has a bouncing melody that is guaranteed to get you dancing. There is a nod to fellow Scot, Gerry Cinnamon in the energetic guitar playing and there is a folky pop sound to the playing.
“Spend your night in Molly‘s Chamber, then push her aside”
I’m a big fan of Callum’s strong, gritty vocal on this track and is an earworm of a song.
Callum is currently a hidden gem on the new music scene, and with his strong gritty vocal, has released a real earworm of a song. Now is the time to check out this highly talented solo start and push Callum into the limelight.
Into The Dark is released on Friday 2nd September and can be pre-saved here.
Callum is the next guest on the ThisIsTheMusic meets podcast. Further details can be found here.
