Amber Sky set to release their new single Wait For Me.
Having formed a little over 12 months ago, Birmingham based Amber Sky have carved out a reputation for their energetic live shows, upbeat melodies and catchy lyrics that stick in your head long after the song has finished.
The mood of their new single Wait For Me, is darker and shows a different side to the band than what we’ve seen to this point
The song is built around big heavy guitar riffs (think Arctic Monkeys AM era), a pounding, thumping bassline, solid drum beats and a catchy melody.
The song depicts a fictional story, where the character is desperate to let the other person in the story know that they are in love with them, but, for whatever reason, is too scared to let them know and is secretly hoping that they will wait for them to pluck up the courage. It‘s left up to the listener to decide as to why the character makes this decision, however the lyrics will be relatable to many.
“I only want you to stay, You’re more than I could ever have hoped for, I have something to say to you tonight, I want you to wait for me, Wait for me and never run away without me”
The pace is steady for the verses, however the chorus is explosive and heartfelt and the guitar solo in the outro is exciting and just shows off the talent running through the band.
Amber Sky have released another fantastic single, full of emotion that will leave a lasting impression and needs to be added to your playlist.
