Fiona Lennon is a rising singer/songwriter from Liverpool and her new single, Coming of Age is  set to propel her firmly into the spotlight.

Coming of Age was written earlier this year, soon after her 25th birthday, at a time when Fiona was feeling many emotions, about getting older and bad experiences in life and valuing the good times so much more and is a really relatable song. Fiona has also dedicated the song to her mum and family.

Fiona really showcases her superb vocal on this track, hitting each note with consummate ease and leave you totally captivated.

Her voice is full of emotion and passion and along, with her band, who have recorded with her for the first time, really capture the heartfelt and emotional spirit of the track.

“It’s coming of age, I’ll take my time, just let me be”

Musically the song combines elements of pop, folk, soul and country, giving the song a freshness and upbeat sound that fits around one of the songs main themes perfectly.

Followers of Fiona’s social media platforms will be fully aware of her relentless gigging schedule, marking her out as one of the hardest working artists out there, as well as superb takes on several covers including Noel Gallgher’s Dead in The Water Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill and Verve’s Sonnet.

Coming of Age, confirms what ThisIsTheMusic have been saying for the last 15 months; Fiona Lennon is an exceptional talent who is set for a sparkling future: it’s time for someone to give her a record deal.
