THE BLAMS: BLAME GAME: SINGLE PREVIEW

Having formed just over a year ago, east London’s The Blams have committed to a rigours gigging and single release schedule, which has seen them rack up a highly impressive 28k streams on Spotify alone.

Blame Game, the bands 6th single, sees the 3-piece release a slow grungy alt rock track and as with previous releases show their versatility and commitment to keep pushing their sound forward.

Blame Game is inspired by all that’s wrong with the world and everyone that’s in it: namely about a person who blames everyone and everything around them, but never themselves. A tale that will be relatable to all and summed up in an emotive and direct chorus.

“Blame it on the outside; blame it on your world, Leave it in the quiet that you used to think would stir Blame it on the outside; blame it on your world”

The band have thrown everything at this song. The drums and vocals were recorded professionally through The Beatles reverb plate in a studio but sticking true to the bands  independent roots the guitars for Blame Game were recorded at vocalist/guitarist Sonny’s house while “drinking tinnies in their boxers”.

The raw and vulnerable element of the lyrics really come to the fore on Blame Game and continue their impressive rise and release another blamthem!

Blame Game is released on Friday 5th August and can be pre-saved here

You can catch The Blams live on 1st October at Voodoo Daddy’s showroom, in Norwich,  supporting Marseille and Darlings. Tickets can be purchased here
