This Is War! hail from Liverpool and consist of Paul Carden(vocals),Mike Mullard (rhythm and backing vocals),Jonny Roberts (lead guitar),Martyn Leah(drums) and Andy Williams (Bass). Since forming in late 2021, they have wasted no time in establishing themselves as one of the most sought after bands in the UK and with over 14k monthly listeners on the bands Spotify page, a mightily impressive figure when you consider This Is War! are gaining fans through word of mouth, rather than being pushed by some label.
Exile Poet is the bands latest single and continues the bands project of a releasing a single a month, through to Autumn 2022, when they will release their debut album.
Exile Poet packs a real punch and is explosive from start to finish and is full of huge catchy guitar riffs and rattles along at a thunderous pace that will have you hips shaking and your feet tapping.
Lyrically the song is a tribute to Bob Dylan, referencing a combination of achievements, venues and titles bestowed on him during his career.

Exile Poet is exactly what you’d expect from a This Is War tune: anthemic, catchy guitar riffs, great vocals and huge singalong choruses.
