Southampton’s indie rock band Pionners are back with their first single of 2022 and they have released a monster of a track. 

From the opening of the rocking screaming guitars, which are at the forefront of the song, this is a huge slice of rocknroll. 

Backed up with pounding drums and a thumping bass line, Pioneers have ripped up the sound from previous releases and have written the kind of hypnotic anthem that is made for big stages.

“I think Hit and Run see’s us expand our wings a little bit more as artists. It’s always been that our live shows are where we think we resonate the best, and with this new single everything is a little louder and more anthemic. We’ve always loved to explore the heavier side of our sound and Hit and Run felt like the perfect song to showcase this. This is the first time we have kept the recording process very streamlined and natural, instead of thinking what sound people wanted from us, we instead ran with what we wanted to create and the result of that is this tune”.

This new heavy rock sound is set to wow fans old and new and see the band become a band that everyone is talking about. 

Hit and Run is due to be released on Friday 15th July and will be available on all streaming and download platforms.
