THE DRIFT: HOLD ON: SINGLE PREVIEW

Birmingham 4-piece The Drift are back with their first single in 15 months and it is well worth the wait.

Hold On is a song that bursts with energy and irresistible guitar riffs which, the song is built around.  Added into the mix is a phenomenal vocal from frontman Matt Brooks that The Drift will very quickly become known for.

The intro of the song features stomping drums from Luke Forde which have early BRMC vibes and are simply stunning; That sound gets  featured ahead of the second verse and is one of the highlights of the track.

“Hold On, are you living it for the day, I hope you want it all and say what you gotta say!”

The band have clearly thought about how this song will be played live, as they’ve included a break that gives the track a bit of breathing space (for hand clapping by gig goer) to accompany the songs guitar riff and the build up of the drums that explode into the songs final chorus.

The Drift are back with a bang: Hold On is their most complete and best song to date and will see the band make a huge statement in 2022.

Hold on is released on Saturday 9th July and can be pre-saved here .
