Liverpool songwriter Jack Gill is back with his latest rocknroll stomper, Moonchild, which is due for release on Friday 24th June and is set to feature on his forthcoming debut EP The Overlook.

Moonchild has irresistible guitar hooks that will get your feet taping and the hips shaking and is  a real anthem that is full of passion and backed up with excellent production.

This captivating track features rising solo star Fiona Lennon  on backing vocals, which elevates the chorus and acts as a further example of Jack‘s willingness to keep his sound and music moving forwards.

“Moonchild, set me free, let me feel your energy, Moonchild shine on me, my good lady that’s you and me”

One of my favourite moments of the track is the tempo change after the songs penultimate chorus. It’s a great rocknroll moment, that when played live will get the crowd bouncing

Moonchild is a classic rocknroll anthem and is Jack’s best single to date. Remember the name Jack Gill: as is going to rise to the very top.
