Holy Coves return with shimmering new psych pop single Grey.
Having had a hiatus of over 10 years, Holy Coves are a band on a mission to make up for lost time. Grey represents the bands 3rd release in 2022 and represents the bands poppiest song of the 3 releases.
However, we are still treated to Marsden’s love of psychedelica as we hear a hazy indie sound, evoking memories of the early 90s shoegazing scene and late summer nights
Whilst the ear will be drawn to the intricate guitar hooks, the song is driven by the pounding drums of Spike T Smith, (Morrissey/The Damned), which ensures you will be toe-tapping and dancing along.
Grey has an extremely catchy melody and is the sound of a band full of comdiat the top of their game.
Grey will be available to stream and download on all of the usual platforms on Friday 10th June via Yr Wyddfa Records.
