Scottish alternative rock singer/songwriter set to release haunting new single

Frances Gein is an LGBTQ+ alternative rock singer-songwriter from Scotland and, through her songs of honesty, reflectiveness and relatable lyrics, is set to become one of the most talked about solo stars on the new music scene. When you consider that she only started learning guitar during lockdown, her rise is even more impressive.

Her new single, All I’ve Loved sees Frances release her most personal song to date.

It has a folky grunge aesthetic and is inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s poem, Alone.

All I’ve Loved reflects on Frances feelings of isolation and loneliness after becoming trapped in an abusive relationship.

The vocal delivery is powerful and high on emotion and is supported with dramatic and spine tingling strings that capture the listener in hearing this experience. This is offset with folky inspired guitar picking which add to the atmospheric vibe that has been created, with the songs excellent production.

Using her experience, Frances has written a song full of passion, honesty and emotion. I highly recommend that you get this song on your new music radar!

All I’ve Loved is due for release on Friday 3rd June and can be pre-saved here
