Bournemouth 4-piece set to release nostalgia bittersweet anthem.
Having formed in the midst of the pandemic, Smalltalk have wasted no time in honing their sound, through constant rehearsals and playing a number of gigs across the south coast, gaining new fans and delivering memorable live shows.
Having released debut single Headstart back in February in 2022 (check out our preview here), the Bournemouth 4-piece are back with new single Paris.
Paris features an euphoric melody, catchy guitar hooks and powerful and heartfelt vocals.
Lyrically, the song is about the desperation of a second chance, as frontman Ben Lewis explains;
“Paris is all about the desperation of wanting a second chance. I’m trying to say that I know it ended badly first time around, but maybe we could try again because we’ve both changed. It’s reliving those memories through rose tinted glasses, which makes it difficult to return to the place where the relationship blossomed”
With its relatable and memorable lyrics, Paris will be sung back to the band at gigs ensuring they are taken firmly into the hearts and minds of indie lovers across the UK and beyond!
