Liverpool solo star releases his best single to date!
The rise of solo star Lee Ford from an outsider, to one who is winning rave reviews with each single and gig has been a rapid one. At ThisIsTheMusicwe have been backing Lee for big things since his first single release (My Best Friend: ) and we aren’t surprised to see the adulation and plaudits coming his way.
His new single Push Bikes, continues Ford’s craftsmanship of writing nostalgic anthems about childhood memories and therefore giving an instant connection with his ever growing fan base.
Push Bikes, focusses on how easy it was growing up with not a care in the world as a kid, playing games with friends before the reality check of adult life and the worries that come with it.
Taking inspiration from early Kings of Leon and The Strokes, Push Bikes is driven by a catchy guitar hook that will be stuck in your head and, as a result evoke memories of the early noughties indie scene.
Push Bikes represents Lee’s best song to date and will see the songwriter make a big impact on the new music scene, before the inevitable next step of being added to festival bills.
Push Bikes is released on Friday 22nd April and can be be pre-saved here.
