Wirral 4-piece return with energetic first single of 2022!
The Merchants new single Castro is highly energetic with catchy guitar hooks and a great melody that will be instantly stuck in your head and will become a firm favourite amongst it‘s fan base. You can already picture the chaotic scenes in the audience when it’s played live.
Lyrically, the song identifies a situation where a person feels they‘ve been misled by someone they trusted and admire, whilst being stopped from doing the things they love.
The focal point of the song is the character “Castro” (someone who we can all relate to) who live their life without regard for others, leaving in their wake a deep feeling of contempt. It highlights the struggles of getting back on track and being productive again.
Castro is a fun and energetic track that will firmly establish the 4-piece as being the real deal. Turn up the volume to the max!
