Nottingham band release psychedelic new single.
The Way I Feel marks a radical departure for The Mariners, who up until this point have established a reputation for writing intricate 60s inspired pop songs.
Evoking memories of The Beatles 60s psychedelic era, meets Kula Shaker in the 90s and The Amorphous Androgynous, The Mariners have delivered a beautiful slice of eastern infused psychedelica. It’s both brave and expansive and doesn’t feature a guitar hook (although the guitar solo around the 1 min 50 mark is majestic), or chorus, but it doesn’t matter; The Mariners first move into psychedelica has been pulled off with considerable ease and is a resounding success.
The Way I Feel is set for release on Thursday 21st April and will be available on all streaming and download platforms!
