Southend indie rockers, San Quentin, make big statement with their third single.
It’s often spoken that after three singles you find out if a band is the real deal.
In releasing their brand new single Crossed The Line, San Quentin have well and truly proved that they are.
As with the bands previous releases, the lyrics are observant and tell a story of a real life situation and will be relatable to many. Crossed The Line tells the tale of the last days of a troubled relationship going through the motions at the end.
“When the cats away, the mice will play the games, that they been playing years, it always end in tears”
With it’s swirling guitar riffs, punchy vocals and bouncing drums, Crossed the Line is the anthem that is going to propel the 5-piece onto bigger things and prove beyond doubt that San Quentin are at the forefront of the revival of British guitar music!
Crossed The Line is released on Monday 7th March and can be pre-saved here.
The band recently played a storming high energy debut headline gig in Southend, selling out the 400-capacity venue, Chinnerys. You can check out our live review here. The set included Step Off, Crossed The Line and a cover of Oasis‘ Morning Glory.
