Garden Party release anthemic new single Rose Tinted.

Since forming in 2019, Garden Party‘s emergence and ascent to being one of the bands of their generation has been both rapid and mightily impressive.

Their second single In The Middle reached number 1 in the ITunes alternative charts and they also made their debut festival performance at Isle of Wight Festival

Rose Tinted, has a great catchy melody the result of which sees the delivery of a more mature sound compared to previous releases: but still delivers an uplifting and anthemic sound in the mould of fellow Manchester group Doves.

In a time where people are quick to forget or disrespect the past, the lyrics on Rose Tinted encouraging you to embrace the past as it may seem better than what you remember.

“But if you pull your rose tinted glass on and take a look down memory lane, your past might seem much better than yesterday”

The song was written by Liam Horrocks when he was 17 and was written for another band that he was in at the time, but they could never quite get the sound right. Fast forward a few years, a new band and Kieran’s guitar riff that you hear at the start, Rose Tinted was ready to be recorded. The band recorded it at Motor Museum (where Arctic Monkeys recorded some of their debut) with Bob Mackenzie, before it got sent off to Abbey Road studios for mastering.

Rose Tinted is the bands best song to date and with its big singalong chorus, you can already visualise festivals and gig goers singing it back word for word.

Rose Tinted is released on Friday 4th March and can be pre-ordered/saved here.
