After a great breakthrough year, which saw Watermark release their debut EP (Hickman Avenue) and stomping stand-alone single Hey, theWolverhampton 4-piece start 2022 in style with their new release.
Here Forever, is a catchy rocker, encompassing that familiar rocknroll sound of the 60s, up-to the current day. The guitar riffs hint to the 12-bar blues riffs, before providing an uplifting riff ahead of the songs last choirs. The drums bounce along in similar vein to Oasis B-side Rockin Chair. The chorus will have you singing along and feature the band harmonising and adds to that classic rocknroll vibe.
Here Forever builds on the momentum that the band built in 2021 and sees them return with a more mature sound and I for one can’t wait to see where Watermark go from here!
