Derby‘s The Public Eye, release debut single, Twister.
The Public Eye are a 4-piece rocknroll band from Derby, forming in late 2021. They have quickly gained a big following through word of mouth and playing plenty of gigs on the local scene in Derby.
Twister is their debut single and it’s a real statement of intent from the band who are aged between 16 and 17.

Kicking off with a rumbling bass line, the guitars and drums kick in, giving the song a real drive and energy that will have you instantly dancing along to. The chorus is anthemic and will be sung back to the band when it’s played live and includes an electric guitar solo; that will rival anything you hear this year.
The vocal from frontman Joey Greener (someone we have championed as a solo star) is passionate, distinctive and recognisable. When listening to his signing he really draws you into the sentiment behind the song.
Twister really showcases what The Public Eye are all about and confirms that they are the real deal. Having heard another couple of tracks from the band, I really believe you should believe the hype, because The Public Eye are coming to a town near you, to blow you away. Twister is released on Saturday 12th February and is available to pre-order/save here.
