Blackburn‘s The Ruby Tuesdays set to release blues infused rocker.
Who You Running From sees the Blackburn rockers, rework their 2019 debut single and showcase a completely different side to the band in terms of tempo and sound. It will surprise many, but the end result is fantastic and the risk taken by the band is definitely worth it.
Recorded at The Grand Studios in Clitheroe, the bands trademark of writing catchy melodies and hypnotic, guitar riffs/hooks is in full evidence here, especially the soaring solo in the build up to the outro.
The guitar riffs and the slower speed of the song give a bluesy psychedelic edge feel and is the type of song that you could see featuring on a movie soundtrack.
Lyrically the song is a commentary on the mundane of life and a question as to why we should be content with the ordinary.

The re-release of Who You Running From, further demonstrates that The Ruby Tuesdays arethe real deal. They are ones to watch in 2022.
